# How Total Sales Are Calculated

| **How Total Sales Are Calculated**

###### 1. During the Live Event: 'Live'

All items added to cart during a livestream and purchased either during the live session or after the livestream will be subject to a success fee.
Revenue attribution is tracked from two sources:
* Purchases completed directly within the interactive video player on the website or mobile app. Sales concluded during Replay processing fall into Live sales,* given that they added items to cart during the live event.*
* Purchases completed outside the video player on the website or mobile app, provided the product was featured during the livestream and purchased within the exact live broadcast window. *The live sales attribution window for this ends when you end the livestream.*
This attribution model accounts for viewers who watch the livetsream then leave the livestream before checkout and complete their purchase elsewhere on the site or app.

###### 2. After the Live Event: 'Replay'

Only revenue generated directly through the LiveMeUp video player is counted.

###### Total Sales - 'Live' + 'Replay'

The total sales figure is the sum of two distinct tracking periods, each with its own attribution logic.
