4- Scheduled Live Video Ads and Best Practices
We bring the Facebook Campaign Manager right into LiveMeUp.
- An ad must be scheduled at least two hours before the live event to ensure optimal use of the budget.
- Once the ad is scheduled, you have a 20-minute window to go live.
- If the livestream starts more than 20 minutes late, the scheduled ad will not launch so you can cancel original live video.
- If you go live early, the ad will only start running at the scheduled time.
- When setting up an ad, Meta will use the start time specified in your LiveMeUp event.
- You must provide Meta with the expected end time of your livestream—for example, a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes or 2 hours.
- This allows Meta to spread the ad budget across the entire livestream.
- We recommend going live for at least 1 hour to help drive strong traffic to your session and avoid under-delivery.
