4- Scheduled Live Video Ads and Best Practices

We bring the Facebook Campaign Manager right into LiveMeUp.

Please carefully read the best practices below for a great experience

  • An ad must be scheduled at least two hours before the live event to ensure optimal use of the budget.
  • Once the ad is scheduled, you have a 20-minute window to go live.
  • If the livestream starts more than 20 minutes late, the scheduled ad will not launch so you can cancel original live video.
  • If you go live early, the ad will only start running at the scheduled time.
  • When setting up an ad, Meta will use the start time specified in your LiveMeUp event.
  • You must provide Meta with the expected end time of your livestream—for example, a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes or 2 hours.
  • This allows Meta to spread the ad budget across the entire livestream.
  • We recommend going live for at least 1 hour to help drive strong traffic to your session and avoid under-delivery.
